Dance Kenpo Karate Fitness
The Movement Workshop begins it's 36th year in business in the 2023-2024 season. Under the direction of owner, Sue Thomas, she introduced her dance and martial arts programs together as they worked hand-in-hand so well for her.
The Staff at The Movement Workshop has been the same for many years. Highly qualified Black Belts and dancers experienced in years of teaching all ages, all forms of dance and exercise, make up the staff who work with kindness and compassion to push the students to be the best they can be. At the same time, students should remember, most importantly, to have fun in their class experience.
Students who have been studying at the Workshop for many years find the opportunity to assist with classes, learn how to teach, and eventually teach on their own. We welcome young ideas to keep us up on the latest trends and music. The select students who are dedicated and who understand the value of commitment are chosen to audition for performance opportunities in Disney World. The Movement Workshop has been making this magical trip every other year since 2006, entertaining Disney audiences with Dance and Karate.
*The Movement Workshop has offered a number of exercise classes including Cardio Barre, Zumba and Kickboxing, and YOGA which compliment each other in a weekly program. We are proud to have also recently added Cuban Salsa with TreintayTres Delaware Rueda.
For this Fall 2023-2024 Season we hope to add YOGA FOR KIDS to our curriculum and also LINE DANCING!

MWS is also taking on a new exciting program, working with Galaxy Gymnastics competitive teams to sharpen their dance technique and performance quality to make them the best at what they do!

ABOUT MWS
Our "Be A Princess" business is now located in our same studio building, transforming into a magical party room for your special event and using our second room for dancing. The beautiful dancers of The Movement Workshop are your hostesses helping to make a magical experience for the children beginning with a trip to the Royal Dressing Room. The party hall will be used during our Summer Princess Dance Camps and, of course, for public princess parties, in addition to Princes & Pirates for the boys.
"Be A Princess" is not exclusively for Princess parties. We will be happy to host any special event, any theme, anniversaries, showers, wine tasting and more. The Movement Workshop also hosts karate parties. Ask for information or email us directly through this website.
